Tall Cedars Farm, Inc. in conjunction with Galloping Acres, LLC is pleased to offer group and private lessons for beginner, novice and intermediate riders. We also offer leasing and showing opportunities. Riding is a great recreational sport for children and adults! Learning to ride is much more than just sitting on a horse. Becoming an effective rider involves learning to communicate with a horse by directing his actions in a way he can understand. Learning to ride is fun...learning to ride well takes dedication. Children and adults with a love of horses and any riding ability are welcome. We can also accommodate people with disabilities.

Caring for horses and learning to ride helps children accept responsibility, increase coordination, and build memory skills. Many adults enter this sport, or return to it, because it offers a break from daily stress or is something they have always wanted to do. At Tall Cedars Farm we strive to help our riders achieve a level of competency as a rider. We believe that becoming a good horse person helps increase self-esteem, self-reliance, and confidence.

We also offer leasing and showing opportunities.

Group Lessons - Average lesson size is 2-6 students with one instructor. Classes are one hour in length, including 15 minutes for grooming & tacking up and 45 minutes of riding.

Our string of 20 horses contains horses suitable for riders of any age or ability.
