Hanover County, Virginia 4-H Equine Club
Rocky Ridge Riders 4-H Club is a Hanover County, Virginia 4-H equine club that provides youth with hands-on learning experiences in horsemanship, riding skills, horse care, and leadership development. The club supports young people who are interested in learning about horses in a positive, educational, and supportive environment.
The club is open to youth ages 9–18 who are enrolled in Hanover County 4-H. Members participate in monthly meetings and have opportunities to build knowledge in horse science, stable management, riding disciplines, and equine-related life skills.
Rocky Ridge Riders members may take part in county, district, and state 4-H horse activities, including clinics, educational contests, and horse shows. The club also encourages teamwork, sportsmanship, responsibility, and community involvement through group projects and 4-H events.
